Garden or bed: Date:
- Decided: is the plan size outside or inside?
- Board thickness noted (2x lumber is 1 1/2 in)
- Inside length measured at both ends and the middle
- Inside width measured at both ends and the middle
- Depth to fill measured from the ground to the board top
- Cubic feet worked out from inside sizes
- Bag count or bulk order written down
- Board length checked against the long side
